A personal dyslexia story
Who: Peter Henderson When: 7.30pm on Monday, 1st March 2021 Where: Federated Farmers Building, 70 Forth Street, Invercargill Peter Henderson was diagnosed with dyslexia at a very early age in the UK. This has not stopped him having a full productive life. Now at 38, he has sailed around the world, been an officer of the British Army and now, the sales manager at Claas Harvest Centre in Southland. He will be talking about the struggles and coping strategies of a dyslexic person in the modern day world and the support systems he has utilised along his way. All welcome. When: 7.30pm on Monday, 2nd March 2020 Where: Federated Farmers, 70 Forth Street, Invercargill Esther Whitehead, Managing trustee from Dyslexia Foundation of NZ has asked if we would finetune the survey after receiving our responses from the last meeting. We will start with a video message from Esther to get the big picture and the "brief" is to come up with 10 questions that you believe would help you as managers and employees. We need to keep it simple and Chris will guide the discussion. The 10 questions can be send to the attendees of our forum in May 4th as the first part of getting feedback from companies about how they provide for their staff.
